Sanz Consulting is an independent advisory practice run by André Sanz. This notice describes what this website collects and what happens to it. It is deliberately specific: everything below is a description of how the site is actually built, not a template.

The short version

This site has no accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no advertising and no tracking pixels. Three things collect data: the contact form, Google Analytics, and the web server’s own logs. Nothing collected here is sold, rented or shared for marketing.

The contact form

When you submit the form at /contact we receive the name, email address and message you type. That is the whole of it — there are no hidden fields.

  • What it is used for. Replying to you, and nothing else. Your message is not added to a mailing list.
  • How it reaches us. It is sent as an email to our own mailbox over an authenticated connection. It is not stored in a database on this website.
  • How long it is kept. For as long as the email exists in our mailbox. Ask us to delete it and we will.
  • Your IP address is held in the server’s memory for one hour, purely to cap how many messages a single address can send. It is not written to a file, not linked to your message, and is discarded when the hour passes or the service restarts.

The form is protected by a hidden field that only automated submitters fill in and by a timestamp check that rejects submissions faster than a human could type. Neither involves a third party and neither sets a cookie.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-1DF35LH5GE) to count visits and see which pages get read.

  • It sets its own cookies in your browser to recognise a returning visit.
  • It collects the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you use. It does not collect your name or anything you type.
  • To opt out, use Google’s own browser add-on, your browser’s tracking protection, or any content blocker. The site works normally without it.

Google acts as our analytics provider and processes this data on its own terms.

Server logs

Like any web server, this one records each request: the IP address it came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser’s user-agent string. These logs exist to keep the service running and to identify abuse — automated scanning, brute-force attempts and the like. They are not used to build a profile of you and are not combined with anything else on this page.

What this site deliberately does not do

  • No third-party fonts. Typefaces are served from this domain, so no request about you goes to a font provider.
  • No embedded trackers, no advertising network, no social media pixels.
  • No cookie banner, because the only cookies are Google Analytics’ own — block them and nothing here breaks.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will act on it. Depending on where you live you may have formal rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we will honour a request regardless of whether a particular law applies to you.

Changes

If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. There is no version where the substance changes quietly.
